London Full Gospel Church has been reformed generating the new identity of the church from the ordinary old office appearance. The design process approaches through the word of GOD, having the initial question of

‘What is Church?’

According to the Bible, it defines that

‘…God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.’ Timothy 3:15 (NIV)

In order to create the imagery of the living God, the creation of the light is crucial as God created the light in the beginning of Genesis.

^‘And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.’ Genesis 1:3  (NIV)

We recognise the existence of light through the filtering objects more dynamically.  The brick is used to form the facade as a unit composed of soil and land capturing the light in and spreading the light out as the sun’s position moves.  The accumulation of the bricks completes the solidity and identity of the church representing the living God as Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem’s Walls.

The unnoticeable previous building has been re-establish as a head stone of the urban context.

The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. Psalm 118:22 (KJV)
