Multi-functional Table
Inspired by Richard Hutten
Design is regenerated by individuals in everyday life that
holds personal complexity. Designer is not the person who defines the use of the product, but opens the
infinite possibilities of the use of the product.
Multifunctional is inspired by Richard Hutten who creates
the diversion of daily objects. His design stimulates a
discovery, proposing an unpredictable use from the
ordinary daily object to the users. His designs are the
books/lamp to sit on, a stool for the toilet papers, an egg
plate for fruits, a table for the lamp. This is a multifunctional design that contains an emotional formula. In his world, one plus one does not equal two. The answer could be
everything. A multi use object can be recreated by user’s
own intervention that proposes an individual sustainability.
This fluid functionality leads an evolution of the object in oureveryday life.
Multifunctional is a collage of everyday objects that
represents the flexibility and complexity for the individuals. This product is a table to sit on, a lamp to store accessories or pills, a chair to read books or to eat breakfast. This
ambiguity can provoke an active use by individuals, from
ages 0 to 100 or over. It will stimulate an unforeseeable
discovery that the user will interact with and will add own
taste onto this unpredictable product.
